24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur

We have enjoyed creating this site for 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur. This incredible charity event raises money each year to provide the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, the Oncology Ward and the Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit at Campbelltown Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and associated Outreach service at Camden Hospital with the extra services and equipment they need to assist in the treatment, care and comfort of children and adults dealing with cancer.

They came to us needing a website so they could take registrations for their big event, and also sell t-shirts, run raffles and take donations all online through their site.

Having a website meant this charity during Covid could continue to raise funds. We helped do this by setting up online team pages that allowed donations online similar to GoFundMe pages. Over the 2020—21 year period they managed to raise an incredible $274,000 all via the website. Bringing their total raised so far to nearly $4.9m by 2021.

In 2021 the total online raffle ticket sales where higher than the offline tickets and in 2022, they no longer did the offline raffle tickets. Saving time for the volunteers but also increasing the funds raised.

24hour Fight Against Cancer now uses the website for promotion of all fundraising events.
